Tuition
Spring and Fall Semester:

The tuition is calculated for the year, and is divided into ten monthly payments. The school year is August - May. Students may join at any time provided there is an open spot. We will start a wait list if there are no open spots. Let us know if you wish to join the wait list.

Tuition is calculated by taking the total tution for the semester, then dividing by the number of months in the semester. Thus, per month, tuition cost is the same, regardless of the number of weeks of preschool in that month.

See below for tuition for 2 year olds and 3-5 year olds.

We love Parties!
We have a parties throughout the semester. Family members are welcome to attend special events.

Biting and Aggression: We love children and we know that aggression can be a normal part of early childhood as children learn to express themselves appropriately. However, we have a strict policy with regard to children biting, hitting and causing harm to other children. This is to ensure every child has an opportunity for a safe and enjoyable school environment. Three incidences of this type of aggression will result in a child's dismissal from school, without a refund for the current month's tuition and enrollment fee. All incidences are reported to parents of both the child causing harm, and to the child that was harmed.

Commonly Asked Questions:
What do you mean by full immersion?

At first, a lot of English along with Spanish will be spoken to help children to begin to understand and become accustomed to the Spanish language, get to know their teachers, and become familiar with the expectations and daily activities of their school . Over several weeks time, the teachers will begin a smooth transition and will speak less English and more Spanish until eventually, Spanish will be primarily spoken. Of course, teachers will always offer a word or short sentence in English if she feels a child may not understand what is being said. Children are very fast learners. They will soon understand and respond to conversation in the Spanish language without much help in English!

My child has not had any exposure to Spanish - will he/she be comfortable in your school?

Yes! Our teachers are caring and experienced and will always put the safety, security and comfort of the children first. All of our teachers are fully bilingual in Spanish and English. Some of our teachers even know a third language!

Our Spanish immersion school is designed for children who do not yet understand or speak the Spanish language. Of course, children at any skill level with the Spanish language are welcome to attend. Our teachers ensure a smooth transition to the Spanish language by using lots of visual cues and drama to help the students understand. And the students love the "drama" and "enthusiasm" of our teachers!

About Our Preschool Program
While benefitting children through exposure to foreign languages is the cornerstone of what we do, our preschool program is a multi discipline approach to nurturing healthy, happy, independent children.

We feel that  children learn best through hands-on experiences with people, materials, events, and ideas.  This approach is ideal when learning a second language. Children learn Spanish through "doing, exploring, participating".

Our Preschool Curriculum:

Play, Play, Play
Did we mention play? In early childhood, children learn so much through independent play and directed play.  Their little brains are rapidly gathering information about their world and creating mental links and building blocks about how things work and social relationship building.  Independent play helps children to learn how to learn.  That is super important...and super amazing.

Literacy
Reading and the love of books is important to our program. We have a special place in our school where children, through books, can explore far off kingdoms, magical places, meet amazing people and learn about their world!

Math
We encourage even our youngest students to begin to love numbers and learn how math relates to their world.

Science
So many amazing and fun activities can be explored in the name of science. Children will learn about density by experimenting with Skittles candies, explore erosion with sand and water, and recreate how sedimentary rock is formed. While we don't expect the youngest children to learn these big words at their age, but we do explore these cool concepts.

Art
Kids Love Art. Children will learn fundamental art concepts while learning to appreciate a diversity of art forms, art interpretation, and how art can make the world a better place. And the kids have a perfect excuse to get their hands dirty ... which is just plain FUN (smocks always available!).

Music
We love music! Studies show music can improve math, listening, and concentration skills.

Why a Second Language?
Not only does your child have the opportunity to become bilingual but studies show that exposure to a second language can increase test scores in science, vocabulary and social studies.
